One hook was bent wrong so it didn't work at all. After adjusting the hook in the vise, it works fine. Unfortunately, this caused the paint to peel off.

I bought the thin molded steel ties and found them very difficult to pull apart. The large molded handle solves this problem. Just like the big guys that truckers use but they are sized to attach bike racks to hitch points and can be used for many other purposes that prevent binding and wobbling.
