I like that they're aluminum and reusable, but wish they were a little closer to the standard-sized gecko feeders of popular brands. I keep a plastic cup on the ledge to "hug" them and keep them level with the ledge (and if you have bottomless holders, you'll need them). Please note that they will discolour slightly the first few uses. This is a normal and harmless consequence of the oxidation of aluminum with food coloring. Simply hand wash as usual with dish soap and hot water. I didn't put them in the dishwasher; enzymatic detergents will likely attack raw aluminum and they will only get to the bottom of the machine with water jets anyway.
