This shoe bench is not strong. I weigh 210 pounds. This bench swings from left to right. If U weighs between 100 and 180 pounds then U should have no problem. I went back and re-tightened the screws. It still rocks. I feel like it needs X-Staves to make it strong. Otherwise this is a good bench.
