I have this hanging from a trellis just outside my window to support my newly planted climbing roses. It is color matched and the design of the trellis is perfect. I think because the trellis is close to the window, I only occasionally catch a glimpse of the bolder birds. The boldest birds are usually larger. As many other reviews have mentioned the perches are too small so these birds have learned to balance on the trellis and lean towards the feeder for treats. I hope they get used to having me and my dog around and stop by more often when we're around. I know they like to come when no one is looking because I've had to sow twice in two weeks. My corgi likes to look out the window, he likes to climb on the window bench and just look, it just gives him an extra activity to get hooked on. I haven't had a problem with squirrels yet, but if I did they would definitely tear this thing apart, so plan accordingly if you have squirrels. So much fun seeing the birds feeding. Would highly recommend for young children.
