Description of 🐦 Set of 2 Gray Bunny Classic Tube Feeders – Premium Hard Plastic Birdfeeder with Steel Hanger, Weatherproof and Water Resistant for Outdoor Use

ENTERTAINING: Feed and watch wild birds in your own backyard! GrayBunny Green Classic Tube Feeder is great for attracting smaller birds like finches, chickadees, titmice, sparrows, goldfinches and more! Hang in your yard, mounted near your patio or outside your kitchen window for hours of exiting bird watching in all seasons and weather. The 4-port version is 12 inches tall / 6-port is 15.5 inches tall. EFFECTIVE DESIGN: Premium grade hard plastic will keep your seeds secure. Four well-spaced feeding ports with perches allows for multiple birds to feed simultaneously. Enclosed circular seed housing keeps up to 4 cups of seeds fresh and dry preventing moldy buildup which is harmful for birds. Clear housing lets you see when it's time to refill seeds. Simply raise up the top easy-fill lid to refill. Contoured base ensures that seeds are distributed towards the outer walls. GIFT IDEA: A quality gift for parents, nature lovers and children. Maintaining the feeder by ensuring its well-stocked is an enjoyable activity that's great for keeping elderly busy or teaching young ones responsibility. The feeling of joy that comes from feeding hungry animals is priceless. Find other great GrayBunny feeders, birdhouses, baths & accessories online: attract an even wider variety of songbirds, nuthatches, robins, wrens, juncos, woodpeckers, hummingbirds, doves, cardinals & more!. VERSATILE: This seedfeeder works great with mixed seed blends, black oil sunflower seeds, nyjer or thistle, safflower, and small nuts or peanuts with a big 4 cup capacity seed holder. Seeds dispense slowly from dispensers as smaller birds perch and feed. Numerous hanging options include: trees, iron shepherd hooks, feeding station kits and stands, free standing poles and posts. Round covered hardtop roof is waterproof and weather-resistant when closed. decay! Best in Feeders

This feeder was completely destroyed by my squirrel friends within a week. At first they were confused because he had replaced the copper feeding they were feeding on. But they soon figured out how to get the seeds. It wasn't advertised as a squirrel shelter but the ease with which they disassembled the plastic was amazing. You can use it as a squirrel toy, but not as a bird feeder if you don't have squirrels in your house. (hardly)

Pros
  • Cool item
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen

Great Squirrel Feeder

Smaller than expected but my fault for not noticing the dimensions before ordering. I mention this just in case someone else is in the same boat. This is very convenient for the birds and they can access food easily and protected from the weather. The only problem is that the squirrels are also very easy to get to and they ate more food than the birds in my garden. If you have squirrels in your garden, then this feeder is not for you!

Not strong if you have squirrels

This is a great and easy bird feeder if you don't have an aggressive squirrel that will tear it up after 2 weeks. The birds liked it. The squirrel did the same, and it ripped off the green outer holes that hold the bird seed and allow the birds to sit and eat, after which the bird seed flowed right out of the feeder. I recommend this feeder if you haven't pictured a squirrel like ours because it has attracted so many new and beautiful birds.

  • Stylish and modern design

Waste of money

The barrel of this feeder is so thin (made of flimsy plastic) that the squirrels ate it in 24 hours. The manufacturer asked me to review their item and when I told them I probably shouldn't because I thought it was a waste of money and I sent them a photo of what was left of it, they told me that Photo is not very good. enough to take another. As I threw everything in the trash I couldn't take another photo for them so they told me to send it back to Revane (didn't I just say I threw it in the…

Perch configuration not designed properly

The feeder is well made for the price and I like the lid overlap which gives better rain protection. However, there is a flaw in the design of the perches: since the perches are perpendicular to the feeding holes, the birds have to twist their neck/body a lot to get into the feeding holes. I find that this is a problem for any bird larger than the house finch and even they avoid this feeding site when there are others. Goldfinches are the best size for perch configuration. Tubular perches with…

Wow I'm glad 5 is starting to read the review!

Hello Amazon customers! The way I've rated the products I buy from Revain is pretty simple: 1 to 5 stars, 1 is terrible, 3 is fine, 5 is amazing. Let us begin! See my photos for reference, my advice and warning. This bird feeder is affordable, durable and easy to fill and clean. My first feeder and I'm dinner happy. The birds love it. Therefore, my rating for this product is 5 stars AMAZING! Tips & Warnings: Buy a pole base or use a strong branch because it will dance with the birds and the…

Excellent feeder after a simple modification

This bird feeder was ignored for about a month. The problem was the short 1.25 inch perches under each feeding hole. Even the smallest birds like finches and bunting found it difficult to use. I was going to throw it away, but I have an idea. Pins that were too short were cut off with side cutters. A hole was then drilled directly under each feedhole molding. The bamboo skewer was inserted into the hole and pushed to the other side. Each side of the new skewer was cut to three inches long with…

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • There are more interesting options.

Great feeder for the price so much fun for the kids

I have this hanging from a trellis just outside my window to support my newly planted climbing roses. It is color matched and the design of the trellis is perfect. I think because the trellis is close to the window, I only occasionally catch a glimpse of the bolder birds. The boldest birds are usually larger. As many other reviews have mentioned the perches are too small so these birds have learned to balance on the trellis and lean towards the feeder for treats. I hope they get used to having…
