I have a Belgian Malinois for those who know they are very energetic dogs. As soon as I put my dog in the car through the back doors, he somehow ends up in the front seat. This is one of the best solutions when you can't find a leash with an attached item. I have a round rope leash that I use for my mali. Then I have an extra leash that attaches to her collar. I wear this flat leash in the car. This line lock does not support round lines, only flat ones. That's why it works perfectly for me. It gets the job done and pairs well with the 2012 GMC Acadia seat mechanism. I even used it to keep the GS dog safe in the back. So this is a well-made linen lock. It is dipped in plastic rubber. The only part that is not part of the car's seat belt system.
