Before purchasing this item, use as a cover up for my cruise Caribbean Meer, I asked what size to buy based on my height and weight. I got mixed responses because I'm really somewhere in between sizes. I'm 5'1 and about 155 pounds with a 36DD bust. I ordered size A and B because I was concerned that A would be too tight and B would be too big for me. I found I could wear both, but the "B" was too big for my liking. That doesn't mean A was form fitting or skinny because it was also flowy, but it was less useless fabric for my small stature. If you like this look, you can still comfortably remove the shoulders in size A, the arm slits were sewn a little higher and it looked less boxy. I bought a version of this item with white small balls hanging from the edge (model black_ball). . I washed it before wearing it in a laundry bag (it's a zipped mesh bag to protect thin clothes or things with hanging straps/items) and there was no noticeable difference after washing. I hung it up to dry. The white balloons stayed intact throughout my 7 day cruise and I wore them almost every day. I cannot speak to versions of this cover with tassels on it. I wanted to deduct a star because the model's coating appears to be opaque while the actual coating is somewhat transparent, but honestly the transparency is good and I think it complements the overall look. Overall I was very happy with my purchase for a cheap case. I looked cute and covered enough to go out to lunch and travel as well as the pool/beach.
