Review on Command Large Forever Classic Metal Hook, Oil Rubbed Bronze: Damage-Free Decorative Storage Solution with 2 Hooks and 4 Strips by Bryan Moon

Ever since I moved into an apartment I've gone crazy buying these command strips and hooks. I want to leave as little destruction as possible in a place that doesn't belong to me. Anyway, in a review of one of the other command strips (can't remember which one) the woman said it always worked. She has to wipe the area down with isopropyl alcohol and then *wait 24 hours before attaching the hooks*. So far she has been upstairs. I put them on over the weekend, put on the strips, waited 24 hours and put them on. It's only been a few days, but there haven't been any problems. Ditto for the other commands I've lined up (for pictures, for hanging cups, for hanging keys) - any I've been waiting longer for are still holding on. Another one I only waited a few hours for went out a few days after that. I didn't even know until I wondered what the accident was. A lesson I learned and will continue from now on.
