Must be included with every BathFiter! Serious.

One of our properties had a BathFiter. These are cheap inserts on the original bathtubs. They flex A LOT so the usual caulking is meaningless. In its place we will put a tiled shower, but for now it has a large surface area and is therefore ideal for this application.

The white band is translucent - you can see through it.

Good. The tape seems to stick well and appears to be waterproof on initial testing. I don't like that the "white" band is very translucent. Even after two applications I can still see through it. Do not buy if you expect the tape to hide cosmetic imperfections.

Worked for me!: Adhesives and Mortars

So far so good. Excellent adhesion. I used this around the bottom of my shower screens where the sides meet the floor. There is a gap that I found more convenient to seal and this tape did the job. I used a hair dryer to heat it up before applying pressure to stick it to the walls. Much easier than using sealant and much easier to replace if it gets dirty or loses adhesion.

Really sticks in the water and heats up, very good product!

I was looking for something that could be inserted between the stove and sink to keep food and grease in between. I've tried many different things and all have failed. I saw an ad for this tape and decided to give it a try at this price. That works great! It's very sticky and sticky so it won't come off. I've been wearing it for almost a month now, wetting it several times a day, heating it from the stove and oven, wiping it down with sanitizer and it's still there.

Pros
  • Great for a small home
Cons
  • A dubious purchase for the elderly

That does not work!

Bought this tape to seal the sides of sinks on bathroom and kitchen countertops. Unfortunately, this tape doesn't work because it has poor adhesion.1. The tape doesn't stick very well to the countertop or sink walls. It comes off pretty quickly.2. It's a thick band, so it doesn't contour well, leaving gaps in the curves and turns.3. Because its adhesion is poor, it peels off without leaving any traces :).4. Expensive for the poor functionality it offers. It was a waste of my money. I will not…

The tape didn't seem sticky enough

I used this tape for the gaps between the door and the door frame. I'm not sure if that's a good idea as I've found that despite the tape, sand and dirt will come through the door when it's windy. I try to stick it straight on so I had to take the tape out a few times to get it even, but it wasn't very sticky after taking it on and off a few times. I didn't want to take it out again as the tape gets a little distorted after I take it off. It's a very flexible tape so it's easy to maneuver, but…

Great for what I need.

My house has two bathrooms. A small one with a shower stall, that's two parts. People before me covered the seam but it looked awful, musty and gross. I've tried several times to find something to close this seam. I had an apartment fire and the painters painted the shower. I wanted to put my house up for sale, but I knew something had to be done about this shower. I saw this tape online and ordered it. I knew the seam would be visible so I found some tape to cover the seam and then used clear…
