I look forward to using it every morning. I also have a Keurig and a French Press. Considering the convenience, taste and indulgence, this is my favorite way to sip a quick and delicious hot cup of heaven. The pleasure combined with caffeine keeps me in high spirits all morning. Coffee tea drinking, like a great American ritual, is all the more enchanting with this thing. I use Melitta #2 filters. It has 3 holes. I have an electric kettle that can heat 12 ounces of water in the same amount of time as my Keurig. I make an 8 or 12 ounce cup in minutes. I learned pretty well by eye how much water to pour in to leave room for the cream. If you think you might get in trouble, try clear cups for a while. During a recent family gathering at my house, we loved getting together in the mornings and making coffee this way. So easy to switch to a new filter and pour in fresh grist. Again - faster, tastier and more enjoyable than Keurig, even for a large group. At this price they all get one for Christmas as a sweet sentimental keepsake. Pros: - It's beautiful. Brilliant glaze. Attractive color contrast inside. - Excellent quality. Heavy ceramic, strong, durable construction. - Quickly. To be honest, it doesn't take much longer than Keurig (you have to keep topping up water and descaling the machine. Ugh). - Less garbage. Use compostable filters and enjoy your cup without a guilty conscience. - Easy to clean. Just rinse. Lasts seconds - a feast for the senses. The sound of coffee dripping organically. see hot steam. An instantly rich and luxurious scent.- A great gift, especially for that person who seems to have everything! - Uniqueness. You won't see such great coffee at Target. - price target. Incredibly smart. In fact, this is a lot of time saver and joy it brings. Cons: - None. Boom. Enjoy!
