UPDATED (01/12/21): Overall they are functional and beautiful. They have a strong and durable wire coating. The quality of the cables seems solid at first glance. The functionality of the connections is also great. There are no problems with pens. We have not encountered any MiFi charging or data transfer issues on many different Apple products. My only criticism of this product is the metal spring next to the connectors on each end. They are designed to help with the Achilles' heel of all charging cables: resistance to bending forces when the cable is connected to the head of the device. Unfortunately, here the hand tends to grab or at least slip off this part of the cable when removing it from the device. This stretches the CyvenSmart spring. As with all springs pulled from a spool, this stretched spring stays put - and it tends to be closest to the connector pin, which you (of course) see first. At first I thought it was a blemish. Unfortunately, this seems to lead to a more functional result. Please see my updated pictures which not only show that this reel cannot prevent bending, but that after the spring stretches the cable actually bends faster and tends to stay bent. device to prevent further damage to the product. In the attached file you can hopefully see what I'm trying to describe. Otherwise it could be a solid five. But I have to take three of them until they fix this. I'm a functional guy and I have to say functionally it's an A. But 1) I don't know how long it will actually take, and; 2) Use and practicality for the masses dictate that this is a major design flaw that will likely disappoint many people and clip stretched springs from the cable in time. There is room for improvement and I hope they will: almost done.
