My furry old man needed a new bed and after reading reviews and buying a lot I decided on this one. I wanted to love him so badly but I'm very disappointed. Especially the price tag. I have ordered cheaper beds in the past which I have been very happy with. It was vacuum packed in a small box (no problem) so of course it was quite complex when I took it out. The inner pillow/filling was quite lumpy and didn't seem to have enough filling for the size of the bed. The husband tried unsuccessfully to disperse it and smooth out the lumps. I was hoping that this issue would resolve itself over time after my old furry friend lay on it for a while. Well it didn't help and the problem has only gotten worse in the last 2 weeks of ownership. In some places the filling is so crumpled, in others it's missing, that it mostly rests on the hard floor underneath. However, one positive point I would like to mention is the lid. I like the black and white stripes, they look very thick and durable. In addition, a zipper running along the entire length of the long side makes it easier to remove and clean the case. Haven't tried washing yet so can't comment on how well it holds up after washing. Overall, I like the look and durability of the case. However, the quality of the inner material is definitely low. I wouldn't buy this again.
