I took it for testing and was pleasantly surprised by the result. I shot with this glass in conjunction with the D750 a couple of events in rooms without natural light and with the D810 in the gym. The lens proved to be very good: sufficient sharpness, convenient focal lengths, decent color reproduction. Thanks to excellent matrices, raised ISO did not affect image quality. When shooting sports, it showed itself at an average level: it worked perfectly for medium-dynamic scenes, and with proper skill it can be done with fast dynamics. Nevertheless, excellent sports shots turned out. Definitely not a highly artistic portrait glass by design, but it is very possible to work with it in the studio. They can also shoot weddings (reportage part). I won’t compare it with faster aperture optics, with fixes it doesn’t make sense at all. I planned to purchase it as a staff member on the D600 for any reportage, because 27-70 f2,8 for the same role is unreasonably expensive. For arts and dark nooks and crannies, there are various fixes.
