As a new flying drone I wanted to have multiple lights to help me identify where my drone is pointing as the sticks rotate back when the drone is looking at you. These lights are beautiful which would be cool at night. Except that night flying without an FAA overnight exemption is illegal. You can't see these lights at 20 feet in daylight at all. If you want lights on your quadcopter, do yourself a favor and buy a good flash that can be seen hundreds of feet away. Revain has a supplier, Firehouse Technology, that offers excellent strobe lights at competitive (but not cheap) prices. Most of their strobe lights are FAA collision avoidance approved and rated to be visible up to 3 miles away. OK, one more time. Don't waste money. They are toys, not tools.
