There is not a single word in English in the instructions, I had to deal with key sequences and presses. The CR44 battery is not included, it is quite powerful, heavy and has a magnetic base. After a week of use it's not bad, the buttons work right out of the box after some experimentation and it seemed accurate to within a few thousand. You have to zero it with the ring around the slide button before use, and that gives you a few millimeters up or down. I decided to keep it to check the calibration of my CNC Electronic Tool Setter.
