Amazing sound for the size and price

SMOL BOIS! Wow, they're not very big. How do they compare to their bigger siblings, and don't they lean too far into 'gamer' territory and sacrifice decent sound quality? These are miracles when small = life. It lacks a bit of bass compared to the R1280T, but a very similar sound signature with decent volume makes them a good choice if you're in the small computer speaker market. PACKAGING, SPECS AND ASSEMBLY - Graphics on cardboard, speakers are packed inside in plastic bags with molded plastic inserts to ensure their safety during transit. They have a 3.5mm input, a 3.5mm subwoofer output and a USB input. They have a rear-firing port, a full-range rubber-surround paper cone driver, and cone RGB LEDs in each speaker. The cases seem pretty good for a product of this size and price. Sound - I tried these out in my living room along with the Emotiva XDA2. The lack of bass is immediately noticeable compared to its larger siblings, the R1280T. However, their sound signature is very similar. They sounded so similar that it was noticeable. For example, I expect the speakers to sound different, but these were very, very close. They have successfully filled my medium sized living room with sound. I haven't measured their volume distortion, but they're loud enough for regular media, even in my living room. I later tried them on my desk via USB. There is a little more bass here, the picture is better in a smaller space. Sounds great again. Incredibly loud on a desk, even over USB. Conclusions. The RGB lighting adds a relatively cool accent to cases that no longer look like other speakers available. However, unlike some Logitech computer speakers, the enclosures are still similar enough to the speakers to be recognized as speakers. I wasn't expecting much but to be honest I was shocked by the sound quality, build quality and connectivity options available for such a modest price. Those are really damn good and offer the option to add a subwoofer afterwards for a cheap/small 2.1 setup on the desk. Heck, the onboard electronics are pretty good. What more do you want? denial of responsibility. My ears are not a universal measuring tool, the perception of sound quality is subjective.
