Review on Monoprice Inserts Solid Ethernet Cable by Stetson Olsen

Best RJ45 connector I've ever used

I've made thousands of RJ45 connectors and I'm really good at it. There are cheap ones, there are better ones, but there are very few good ones. This is considered GREAT! First look at the picture. With a normal RJ45 you don't get that close to the pins. Even with through connectors, it's difficult to get that tight into your corners. (You must avoid too many straight wires for optimal data throughput.) Pass-through connectors that require special tools are junk and you're spending a fortune on them. It's tricky to get all the wires right because you're going to glue something 1/3" apart. This connector is great. Cut the wires at an angle (see photo) and thread them through the insert. You're not trying to guess, by skipping them. You pop them right into a little insert. Compared to regular and straight through connectors I've never had leads out of service. And as soon as you insert them into the little insert it snaps into the slot letting you know make sure it's tight. Then crimp. I don't know how others have had problems with this connector but this is my gold standard now. It's 100% correct every time and 100% reliable. I won't use anything else. Again, you have to, if you want to get the best result twist on the pins directly look at the picture each crimp is like this product i don't get paid for it but if you don't buy it i'm worried that it may cost a lot soon disappears and I can no longer buy it. So if you are ending rj45, do yourself a favor and buy them. If I'm wrong let me know and I'll buy you a beer to make it up to you. You just have to come to California to collect.
