Ez pz install. These rear doors have latches at the top and bottom. BEFORE installation, apply some lithium grease and snap the top and bottom latches onto the door to prevent the plastic from breaking again. That's why it broke in the first place. The latches jammed and the plastic knob broke. If you lubricate them and work with the mechanics with the handle removed, you will enjoy them for many years. Gm doors are prone to freezing, especially on the bottom latch, but a little white lithium grease and loosening these handles will keep this handle working like new, which it is.
