for those of you who have been told your PSP is not repairable. don't believe them (we had problems with games freezing and/or loading), they just want your money for another PSP. I blew compressed air into the game loading door, then disassembled as much as I could without making a mess and my son's PSP worked again. That's when I decided to do more research on the new lens. I was about to try and beat it for my son when I came across this very inexpensive product that works just like your regular DVD/CD-ROM cleaner. After a while you will need to replace the battery which I believe is a watch size battery. We got it for Christmas and installed it right away. finished the job my compressed air couldn't do. I decided that I would choose the cheapest repair first. If that doesn't work, I'll order a new lens, which you can get for about $40-$50. still cheaper than a new psp. This cleaner is a must-have because from the minute you open the loading door, dust and dirt settles just like it does on the games themselves. Don't get caught without it
