This is my second set. The first one was great because it had the correct, thinner "jam" lids. This set had jar lids that weren't made for this jar so they don't close so they're totally useless. I'm sending them back and waiting for a refund, hopefully I'll get them back with the right lids. To clarify, if you're lucky and get the right caps, it's 5 stars all day. With the wrong lids, they're useless. Many others here seem to have had the same problem. I'm glad my first set was good so I knew it wasn't just a crappy product. So in my experience there is a 50% chance you will get the wrong caps (1 star) and a 50% chance you will get the wrong caps. right, (5 stars). So I am hesitating between a rating and a 3 star stop. You can roll the dice. FYI, it doesn't matter, but I use them to store loose leaf tea that needs to be airtight. Unless your purpose calls for an airtight seal or a proper lid, I think you're safe either way. Update 2/26/20: Just received a replacement in the mail, this time with the correct caps. However, the rating cannot be changed. Is it a 5 star product or a 1 star product? If you don't mind returns, you'll end up with good ones.
