I can't believe the quality of these pins! Everyone in my family is an artist. We use consumables and constantly have to buy more colored pencils. I read a review comparing them to previous Prisms and took a chance as these are the only pencils we use. I CAN'T BELIEVE HOW BEAUTIFUL THESE PENCILS ARE! About 1/3 the cost of Prisma pencils! I was nervous at first, but was pleasantly surprised! Some differences from the Prism that we noticed are that it's lighter and has a slightly rubbery feel. i like it more It was difficult to match colors accurately compared to Prisma's colors, and when you say Prisma's saturation is 100%, that's 99.9. Very close but not visible to the naked eye. The sharpness is amazing too! They get a wonderful finish instantly and are easy to make. They are soft, but do not dull as quickly when resharpened. Final Decision: Everyone in our family picked them to backorder! For our artistic budget we can get all colors and many variants for less money than prism pencils. ***1 Warning*** I highly recommend purchasing each color set as each box caters to one type of color scheme and may contain fewer of the specific colors you may need. I believe we bought every box and still paid less than 24 sets of prisms. * Widow's Black Pens: Great work! Worth every penny! They have a whole family of new customers and we're telling everyone how awesome they are! My kids art teacher now has ours and she's trying them out for her class! When a product turns out to be better than you ever expected, you want to "scream it from the rooftops"!
