A really necessary purchase, Im glad I found this product.

Gorgeous 2-in-1 transformer. In 2022, it still looks beautiful, but perhaps the frames need to be thinner (their current thickness, in any case, will not cause accidental touches, which is also a plus). The magnesium alloy chassis doesn't feel as icy as aluminum in the morning after the laptop is idle. The tactile sensations are very pleasant, the premium and high cost of the product is felt. I especially want to note the keyboard - this is the best keyboard that I have ever used in laptops. The key travel is moderately large and fairly clear. There is lighting of course. On a single battery charge, 9 hours will live without any problems (normal brightness level, web surfing and watching videos). With intensive use of the graphics chip, the laptop will live for 3 hours (exactly the same as the tablet as an independent device). In my case, this is an average of 6-7 hours. Transformer cooling is excellent. A good result is due to the fact that the processor and the video chip are physically located at a great distance from each other (the processor is in the tablet part, the video chip is in the keyboard part). I did not notice any processor throttling, but the processor itself was installed low-voltage and its heat pack under a maximum load of no more than 25 watts (with a connected charger). The reason for this is the inability to cool a more powerful processor due to the fact that it is in a tablet unit. For some, the computing power of the CPU may not be enough, but everything satisfies me. The display is well calibrated and can be accurately used for video editing and color correction. This is not my case, so I won’t tell you the details, look in the reviews. They definitely didn’t save on the webcam, it’s perfect for Skype / Zoom calls, which is relevant now. The microphone is also good. The lack of Thunderbolt 3 is partly confusing (for the future, so to speak), but Microsoft themselves explained this by the fact that Thunderbolt is a vulnerable interface and it is quite possible to carry out a DMA attack through it. Following. models are waiting for the fourth version.

Pros
  • - Design - Long-lasting battery - Cooling - Sufficiently fast SSD - Tons of RAM - Very productive graphics - Excellent webcam and microphone for negotiations - Aspect Ratio - Display - The most comfortable keyboard I've ever used - Transformer 2 in 1
Cons
  • - Very expensive - Not the most mobile device - For a device in 2022, the frames are thick (in defense I will say) - Transformer 2 in 1 (due to the unique design, it is impossible to install a processor with TDP> 25W) - Decently noisy under heavy load - Perhaps someone will be confused by the lack of a Thunderbolt 3 interface (additional information in the comments)
