Review on 🎨 Explore Creativity with KINGART Professional Mixed Media Pencils - 72 Pencils in a Durable Tin Case by Amy Mcleod

Whether you're just starting out or just looking for a good overall set, this is something you should give serious consideration to.

Never heard of Kingart. But I'm glad I tried these pens. This is a good deal and a great introduction to different types of pencils. I have Prismacolor watercolor pencils and regular pencils, which are arguably the gold standard for artists' pencils. And I can tell a difference in pigmentation and quality/performance. But they are also insanely expensive. The set comes in a sturdy metal case with 2 layers of pens. The first layer contains regular colored pencils and watercolor pencils, which I thought were decent. (I thought watercolor pencils would mix better with water, but they don't.) But the 2nd layer contains pencils, which I really enjoyed using. They had metal pencils, pastel pencils, graphite pencils and charcoal pencils. The metal pins were ok. (I thought they had more of a metallic sheen.) But I liked the softer pens! I liked the drawing and I liked the textures. But because they're so soft, you'll use them up quickly. This set gives you a good overview of the Kingart range and what you might want to buy in the future. Whether you're just starting out or just want a good overall set, it's something you should seriously consider.

These color pencils should of been shipped in a box instead of an envelope.
