Bought an adapter for work. At my work, they give us Surface tablets with i5. I had problems with it, couldn't keep up. I bought a Dell with an i7 and soon found I had only one way out. I came to Revain and found this, it's expensive but I chose it anyway as it was for work. I love the fact that I can use Ethernet and USB 3.0. What I didn't like is that I assumed it was plug and play, but that doesn't matter. I'm in IT. I then found that you need to follow the exact link in the manual as their website cannot search for their own products (Startech.com). Googling didn't help either, so I typed everything in and here are the drivers. Installation was quick and easy. The adapter is very fast and allows me to use two split screens and three if I want to use the built in monitor. Ethernet is gigabit, so very fast. I love the adapter and after a few months of use it still connects quickly and the USB connector is still like new. They used good plastic for the USB side. I love that I don't need a power source to use this adapter. I'm still rating it a 5, although I find it odd that the company that sells these adapters doesn't show their own adapter on their website and doesn't put a model name or number on it. returns 0 results. Luckily I still had the manual, I typed everything up and it worked.
