We bought a new townhome that was a speck house so we weren't able to choose our finishes. The fireplace surround was one thing I hated because it just didn't go with the rest of the color scheme on the first floor. I got a couple quotes to have the granite removed / replaced and upon receiving the numbers, I decided to see what other alternatives were out there. Obviously, this is DIY and I don't expect perfection but it's pretty damn good and so much more pleasing to the eye for me! Totally worth the price if you're looking for something nice that doesn't break the budget. I could see us having to touch up or replace in certain areas if the adhesion doesn't last, but for such a reasonable price, I'm not worried. Loving the new look!
