Review on 🔗 Ford F-250, F-350, F-450 Super Duty Gooseneck Safety Chain Anchors - CURT 60608 OEM Puck System by Alan Sitton

It was quite confusing. Kurt has two types of chain anchors that are meant to fit the Ford truck, 60608 and 60691. I was only able to get 60691 in time to use my truck this weekend, so I took a chance with 60608, even though Revane said so . won't fit. I think the difference between the two is that the 60691 has a skirt of about 1/4 inch around the base which raises the loop off the truck bed. In some of the photos I've seen, the 60608 loop appears to be that close to the base. that in some cases you can't rotate it a full 90 degrees without hitting the bases of the body. But in my truck, the washer slots were high enough above the bed that this wasn't a problem at all. ' sits very tight so I had to use a long screwdriver to turn it a full 90 degrees to get enough force, but it worked fine and results in a very snug fit that doesn't rattle. But be careful if you've sprayed bedding or similar that didn't have the slots covered - I'm sure you'll never be able to turn them without removing the bedding cover where the hinges fit (spray the bedding next Week). they mask it!).
