Since living in Japan I've wanted one of these at home in the US. Let me tell you that you will never want to use any other toilet facility ever again! Took 20 minutes to install and install properly including the water pipe adapter. too simple! The remote control is easy to operate, and the memory is easy to adjust, supports 2 people water pressure and position settings. The bowl lighting and side lighting are great. I can turn off the light completely and when I enter it comes on so it's not dark. Let me be clear here that this is NOT a night light that some models have. These lights only turn on when you use the toilet or when you activate the IR beam nearby. The auto cleaning feature works great and I only had to clean the bowl about once a month. The adjustable seat heater works great. I also like the switchable seat up function. When using the water spray function there is a built in shut off timer that shuts off after about a minute, presumably to prolong the life of the pump motor. With this water heater you will never run out of hot water. The temperature is very constant and does not change. After buying this, my father bought the same tote for my mother at her house. Then my dad even bought one and he's a super old school American so I was shocked. Then my grandmother got it. Everyone seems to love theirs! I paired this with Squatty Potty and I NEVER look back (check out the YouTube ad if you haven't seen it). With the bidet feature, you get the most rubbish after #2, but not quite in my experience. However, it is much better than using toilet paper, especially if you suffer from hemorrhoids. I've used about 10 rolls of toilet paper in the last year and now only use one sheet of adult washcloth to touch things up. Take that, COVID-19 toilet paper holder! CONS: None, just these suggestions: if you use the auto cleaning function (highly recommended), close the bathroom door at night if you are a light sleeper as it may disturb you. It's not loud, but it's clear enough that I woke up thinking someone was in my house :) Make sure you set the timer interval for automatically opening/closing the lid correctly to what suits you fits. If the IR sensor detects that you are passing it on your way to another room, either turn it off or set it properly! You can set the toilet to automatically raise either the lid or both the lid and seat. For housewives, this is especially important when you just want to lift the lid without touching it yourself - just use the remote control button!
