I bought these to better organize my sliding door wardrobe. You simply work for it. Once the plastic braces held the panels in place I didn't use a tiny hammer, the assembled containers are pretty solid. You won't wear them around the house, but in a stationary position, they hold up perfectly. I'm not sure how much weight the plates are rated for, but the plastic is relatively thin. They will have many uses, but you will not use them to stack heavy items. There were a few extra parts in my package, an extra plate, a couple of leg mounts and 6 internal mounts. I think I might take an extra set of these.
