I really love my Little Giant products but these brackets are letting me down. I expected them to slide easily into the buck components but with moderate effort. I expected them to be "soft". They wouldn't fit at all. I ended up using a sledgehammer to change the look of the bracket so I could hammer the bracket into the buck. One side of a bracket was never properly installed. it was strong Removing the bracket again required using a skid and a piece of wood to knock the bracket out of the buck. A piece of wood shattered into pieces before the strut came loose. I was expecting a little more tolerance, perhaps with a little flattery with a rubber mallet. I didn't expect to have to use a five pound sled to persuade. Before I use them again, I will clamp each in a vise to get an acceptable insertion tolerance.
