bought a kit to use a 300mm belt (or 30cm of the same) and thought I had extra accessories for others Turntables that I could work with. Well, the funny thing about turntable straps is that they have to be the right size. Both 300mm belts in the kit were actually oversized by 15mm (1.5cm), which doesn't seem like much but is slack enough that I now have to worry about the belts slipping off the disc, let alone from the belt tension. Not suitable for this length. The belt has a lot of slack when installed and I am concerned that this will cause problems in the future. The gist of the story is this: my particular turntable requires a 300mm strap (exactly) so I ordered this supposedly 300mm strap and what I had was a 315mm strap which I believe to be the case I can use it but the product didn't match the description and it's very annoying. I haven't measured the other straps in the kit to make sure they meet the specs, but I highly doubt they meet the requirements. for 5-10 dollars what I had to do. On the other hand, if you're just trying to get your turntable working, no matter how rough, then these straps will be fine I suppose. I'd give 2.5 stars if I could, but I'll round up to 3 as belts are theoretically a good deal if a bit of sloppiness doesn't bother you.
