Review on ๐Ÿ”ช Breville BOV650CB Bamboo Cutting Board: The Perfect Companion for BOV650XL Compact Smart Oven by Monica Woods

Affordable, functional and attractive

I place my toaster on an open table, meaning there is no overhead cabinet, so there's always a chance that some hot metal accidentally lands on it. If it's supposed to be something made of plastic, you can imagine the results. I've always liked the idea of Breville making a good cutting board that not only can be stored right on the top of the toaster where it's easy to reach, but can also act as an insulator to keep things away from the hot surface. There are countless instances where customers have bought and used this item for the very popular mini toaster despite the manufacturer claiming that this is not possible. But they never explain why or do the obvious, which is to adapt a board to their slightly smaller model. So people still go ahead and do it. Having no reason to break the trend, I did the same, and my results are as successful as anyone else's. The board fits well, very little protrudes from the edges, but I think this is an advantage because it's easier to pick it up with your hands from either side than front to back. This is far from the best cutting board you can buy. It's made out of bamboo like most other cheap cutting boards and does the job, but it's not in the same league as those made out of hardwoods like cherry, mahogany, maple, oak, and teak. You get what you pay for. Having the brand name engraved on the front is a matter of personal taste. It is an affordable, functional and attractive product. I like it.
