🔪 Breville BOV650CB Bamboo Cutting Board: The Perfect Companion for BOV650XL Compact Smart Oven Review

I bought this to put on a brand X toaster that was heated outside. Works perfectly. It's the perfect size to make some sandwiches!

Suitable for our Breville table stove. It serves the additional purpose of providing a cool countertop surface even if the top of the stove gets very hot during use. I was concerned that the bamboo board would crack or warp with use, (hand)washing and heating in the oven. Nothing like that happened in 2 years so I'm happy. One star deducted only because of the price.

My two cents are really needed to avoid burns from the top of the Breville oven. I simply unscrewed the four legs, moved each about 1/2 inch toward the center, and they fit perfectly into the grooves on top of the stove. There is a small 1/2 inch bar on each side. That being said, I'm not sure why there isn't a mini oven version.

Although the board I bought wasn't advertised as being perfect for my oven, I find it very satisfactory. In fact, there doesn't seem to be a board made specifically for the Breville model I own and it has been mentioned on a number of occasions that this board and my oven are not made for each other. In any case, I am very satisfied. I love the look of the board above the oven's metal top, and it's a great way to keep a cutting board handy without having to dig it out of the closet.

Simply slide the heat resistant silicone feet to match the grooves on the top of the 450 (BOV450XL), works great. They don't make one for the 450, but this one works great if you push yourself in 5 minutes. Move the heat-resistant silicone feet with my DeWalt drill bit: I removed the screwed-in feet, then re-attached just an inch. This cutting board looks and feels well made. Absorbing and deflecting heat from the rise directly to anything above it. It also protects objects from melting that you might absent-mindedly place on the stove while it's still hot.
