The device is more than deserving of consideration, whether we consider it to be a single monolithic piece, combined with an entire holder, or in a version that is portable. If, on the other hand, we are talking about the controllers individually, then in my opinion, what we have here is nothing more than a toy. To begin, the Joy-Con controllers are ideal for Nintendo fans who participate solely in Nintendo-developed games and projects. For instance, if you play games such as Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, or 1-2-Switch, you won't have any issues at all. On the other hand, I suggest utilizing the Pro Controller for matters of a more serious nature. It is not possible for me to play Street Fighter or Marvel vs. Capcom 11 with a Joy-Con controller because of some aspects of the cross, or rather its lack in its typical form. Even in terms of ergonomics, not everything is as straightforward as it may seem. Many people have voiced their dissatisfaction with the fact that, after some use of some models, the buttons become unusable, a backlash develops, chips and scratches occur on the case, and so on. Although I have not personally experienced this issue, I would advise staying away from dark hues. Aside than that, there have been no particularly noteworthy complaints regarding these controllers. Unless the asking price is too high, that is. Especially when compared to rival products from Sony and Microsoft, of course. But that is a completely different tale.
