Well I ordered a lamp with housing for my Sony projection TV (it took a while to receive) .I made sure before I bought this for my model.We installed it which was a breeze but didn't notice any improvement over the old bulb.The tv bulb on the front blinked and the manual said indicated a need for one new lightbulb was soon watched tv for 15 minutes and we smelled a burning odor.The front of the tv removed and the tv cabinet cover was completely burnt (the cover was red hot) when we did it could have been a lot worse otherwise I got these Found lightbulbs at Revain that are way cheaper than the $250 they want for a real Sony lightbulb, so i decided to order, don't know what else to say, sent them back to revain, no problem m they took care of all the delivery and ref. unded me very quickly. I still need a lightbulb and don't know which brand to trust unless I have to spend $250 for an original Sony which is way too much.
