I use with a Canon 1100D camera. Sharp, fast focus. Compared to the Canon 18-55 IS II, more detail and sharpness across the field. A good stabilizer, when checking in the store, I shot it at 1/50 300mm. opposite wall. The photo is quite sharp. At 70 mm I shoot portraits, beautiful bokeh. Good macro. Does not chromate even at an open aperture. I especially recommend it to beginner photographers shooting on the machine. The stabilizer allows you to shoot at almost any combination of shutter speed and aperture. I don’t consider high power consumption a disadvantage, you have to pay for the convenience and speed of focusing!
