Review on 79220 SHJ A01 79220 SHJ A02 87103 42060 2005 2010 2005 2009 by Elijah Harvey

I recently installed this fan to replace a very noisy one in my car. Because of the design of the dashboard, only replace it with gymnastics. After installation, the fan did not work. I took it out again, and upon closer inspection, the connectors that power the fan were recessed far enough into the jack socket that they couldn't connect to the cable. It looks like the motor, fan housing and terminals have detached from the plastic housing and the metal pins have been pulled out of their sockets. I was able to slide the fan etc back into the case and put a screwdriver through one of the holes in the fan case to put the terminals back into the socket. This part appears to be a cheaper replacement than an OEM fan and you should carefully inspect it before installing it. Once the defect is fixed it works perfectly and for my 2005 car it will probably outlive the rest of the car.
