Rather "hair pomade " than hair chalk.

It's not "chalk" but rather a colored "lipstick" in consistency that is applied to your child's hair. The hair afterwards was very hard and sticky. We were not interested in this set. The only positive were the very bright colors; So if you can get rid of the sticky and greasy feeling, the colors really came through.
