22m Caps/Security Seals are perfect for the narrow caps on the small quarter pint medicine bottles sold here at Revain. I buy/use a classic mahogany colored plastic medicine bottle that fills up to 100ml and is a quarter pint, or rated for a quarter pint when filled to the 100th line. There are lines on the other side of the bottle for ounces and goes up to three and a half and surpasses the 100ml line which I always thought was the top and only 4 pints but obvious if the ounce measurement is correct , a hair above the 100ml line is approximately 3 and 1/2 oz. . If you fill the bottle to the "neck" or the bottom of the lines, just above the 3 1/2 oz line where the bottle neck begins to narrow, then you have a solid 4 oz in the bottle, have it just found out today so apparently i closed 3 and 1/2 oz or a few ml down and called it 4 oz now it all makes sense because I keep coming back with my recipes. With a few more bottles than I thought I'd always just assume I miscalculated the amount of ingredients, but I was right all along and that's good to know. Anyway these things are awesome and if you are serious about making your own medicine like I am the only professional way to do it is with a tamper evident seal even if you are the only one using them used, it's nice to open the security seal and if you're giving it to someone else who has a cold or cough and needs medicine or cough syrup, this has an added benefit. the security that comes with buying a freshly sealed product, the feeling that your medication is, or should be, very important to everyone knowing it has not been tampered with. If you use these and get them to the correct size based on your bottle, use a ruler or measuring tool, if you are unsure about getting the diameter then order the snug fit, but not too tight/too small (I ordered about 20mm just in case). 22 was too big but turned out 22 was the perfect size and 20 was too small, slipped and fell into the bottle, not what you are looking for. It's the perfect size to fully close the cap with minimal protrusion where the user can easily remove the protective cap with their fingers or nails, but not too big so you can't screw the white plastic cap in.
