Review on Marvis Classic Mint Toothpaste - Powerful 3.8 oz Formula for Optimal Dental Care by Erica Williams

Taste: ok. This is a little different than your standard toothpaste. Has a unique aftertaste compared to my previous toothpastes. Overall not bad. For now I would give this product 5 stars. Then consider the price. WAY too much money for the amount you get. Then there's the packaging. Of course it looks great. But the functionality leaves a lot to be desired. It takes 1 1/2 turns to remove the cap compared to the other two toothpastes I have at home which are 1/4 turns. It sounds silly as a complaint, but when you're holding the Sonicare in one hand and the toothpaste in the other, removing the cap is a hassle as you have to twist, loosen, twist, loosen etc, making you drop the cap for some cases. Such a trifle. But it plays a role in everyday use. Besides, why reinvent something tried and tested? It's cool to make the lid look fancy without sacrificing functionality. It's also weird, but you have to squeeze the tube a lot harder than my previous toothpastes to squeeze the paste out. The toothpaste itself does not seem significantly thicker than other toothpastes. The hole in the tube appears to be smaller. All in all I won't buy it anymore. Maybe in the future I'll buy another fragrance to try a different one. But I don't see myself paying that much for this toothpaste on a regular basis.
