I saw this at a local shop and thought it would make a wonderful Christmas present for my mum. I loved the taupe color, the texture, the super softness but most of all the story of Giving Shawl. I live with my parents because of health issues and I'm always on fire and they're always cold. I'm also on the autism spectrum, so I have a really hard time expressing things. The label attached tells the recipient that it is a hug from the recipient. I'm the type that usually buys nice postcards with blank insides because most of the sentiments suck. It is not. And as she read the words, she burst into tears — and that doesn't look like her. So yes, it really is something special. This isn't just a cloak, it's a token of gratitude and caring.
