Where to start? Open the app, turn on Chef iQ, connect to Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, search for recipes in the app, add to favorites. Enter your favorites in the pressure cooker and run the "guided recipe" in the phone app. From there. The cooker follows you and guides you when needed. My husband is plugged in and cooks dinner while working from home. I love that I don't feel stuck on what to do next or where to start. Made many recipes and they were all cooked perfectly. Its smaller footprint (over 8 liters) makes it easy to reserve counter space for it. Lightweight, easy to handle and store. Highly recommend, especially if you're feeling lost as to what pressure cooking is! You don't have to go through this alone. Your Chef iQ is your kitchen companion. I'm in love. Manual setup is just as easy. Choose the food you want to prepare. Use the scale function to weigh food and liquids. The stove takes care of when and how you relieve pressure, but you can change any of these settings. The zoom feature is amazing. For each ingredient to be measured, place the dial on the scale, select zero, add the ingredient until the desired weight is calculated. Select zero on the scale again to add the next ingredient. This is a miracle from a pot! The phone app is regularly updated and broadcasts to the oven when it is turned on. Select and "update" settings on the cooker. Find helpful Chef iQ cleaning tips and more in the phone app. They also have a Facebook community for Chef iQ owners! *Please note that I own a different brand of 8 liter pressure cooker which although serves a specific purpose did not come with instructions for use and I had to resort to the online community to find recipes and instructions for use. It was very frustrating. I use the manual setting for pretty much everything I do with it, and rarely the *mash* setting. Still, the level of excellence was good, but you always have to learn. Chef iQ has been at the top every time and has never disappointed.
