The top of the ruler (printed in black and blue) is a thin sheet that is glued to a clear plastic base. The top sheet does not align with the base and the corners of the sheet protrude further than the base, causing the corners to catch on objects and come loose. I had two corners peeled off even before I took the ruler out of the box. If you look at the ruler from below, you can also see air pockets in the glue. So I can't imagine it will last very long. You also won't be able to measure accurately from the ends of the ruler. After the end of the mark, there is a few millimeters of free space at each end, and there is still a millimeter or two left from the plastic base. In fact, it may be better to remove the top sheet and trim the ends (and peel off the glue). ) and use it as a kind of flexible ruler.
