Zoo Keeper Automatic Pet Barrier is great! I attached it to the back of the front seats in my Nissan Frontier Crew Cab with an elastic cord. I used extra elastic cords on the sides (to the truck's handlebars) and bottom (to the appropriate space under the seats) as others have suggested so my dog can't pick it up to get around it. I bought this not to keep my dogs off the front while driving, I don't have that problem with them, but to keep my lab mix off the front while I get off the truck for errands. When she gets up in front in my absence, she eats and/or chews almost everything! This barrier keeps my 45 lb lab mix in the back seat. My 10 lb rat terrier looks like Natasha Fatale, she just walks the bars but that's ok she doesn't destroy anything. I've had this barrier for about 3 weeks and haven't had any problems. I am very happy with it. I like that it doesn't interfere with the view when looking in the rear-view mirror. I can see streaks but they are well placed and don't block the view. I also like being able to pet my dogs or grab something [small] from the backseat. I also found myself very lucky to keep dirty paws off the front seats. I didn't think I'd mind wiping the seats down occasionally before sitting down, but now that that's gone I realize how nice it is to rid the front seats of dirt, grime and fur. A: My only complaint was that one of the tubes was out of shape, not quite round, so I couldn't fit the two pieces together. Part of the tube was slightly bent inward. I solved this problem by straightening and rounding the end of the tube with pliers. I still give five stars because it works so well.
