Review on ASUS XG49VQ Curved Gaming Monitor with FreeSync: πŸ–₯️ 3840X1080P, 144Hz, Height Adjustment, Blue Light Filter and HDMI Support by Robert Chouinard

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Excellent quality monitor with better image and color quality than TN monitor. Freesync2 with Gsync

Great monitor for the price. Less now than when it came out. The video quality on the VA panel is much better than my other Asus Rog Swift PG24Q Gsync TN monitor. The response time and the input lag in between are imperceptible. And yes, Freesync works well with Nvidia gsync. I have an EVGA 1070ti and I'm getting great results at 65-105 fps in all my new HDR games. Other than that, it's a fantastic work monitor. I no longer need to install two 22" dual monitors. Processing and quality are first class. I don't know why others say it's cheap quality. You must have ordered a clone or a fake. It has vibrant colors and contrast. Good features and the menu button is nice. But you can download the widget to change the settings with the software. The game is an exciting experience. Capable of running on mid-range GPUs as opposed to 4K monitors and even 49-inch ultra-wide monitors. I was thinking of waiting for the Samsung CRG9 to come out this summer, but I also don't want to spend another $1,200 on an RTX 2080ti to use a 49-inch 1440p ultrawide monitor. I don't have to sacrifice FPS with this monitor and the image and video quality is great for gaming anyway, so as good as a 1440p monitor. All in all, this is a great monitor for work and play that will have your guests saying "WOW"!
