Review on 🌲 Tandy Leather Eco-Flo Leather Dye 4.4 fl. oz. (132 ml) Timber Brown 2600-05 - High-Quality Leather Dye for Superior Coloring Results by Kelsey Brown

Ideal for naturally colored vegetable leather.

I bought the Torben men's card holder from Skagen, natural, one size, and didn't have the patience to leave it with a natural patina and didn't feel the natural pristine color it came in. This Eco-Flo material appears to be the only leather dye available in California and I'm pleasantly surprised that it works the way I wanted it to. I painted a piece that wasn't stained, sealed or treated with any type of oil so the process was as easy as it gets. The dye was easy enough to use, I prepared the leather part in question by spraying it with rubbing alcohol and cleaning it. Stiff bristled brush (note that it may be too stiff depending on what you are working with). Then I covered my canvas with something the paint wouldn't stand up to. t vent (e.g. plastic bag) and wear gloves. And it was as easy as using an applicator to apply paint to an item and wipe off the excess. The item I was working on was unpainted and had no oil or sealer prior to painting. And after that I didn't use sealer to protect the paintwork as I forgot to buy it as I'm not sure if the paint will peel in the future so I would recommend all potential buyers to buy something to protect the paintwork just in case. TO EDIT: When tested without applying sealant, the paint wears away from moisture and friction. The "same" bottle I got at Tandy has a distinct redish hue that is missing from this bottle.
