I have 2 daughters. They are 6 and 8 years old. old and they weigh less than 60 pounds. everyone. I bought this ladder about 3 months ago so my daughters could have access to the tree house I built for them. When I got the ladder, I attached it to the girls' tree house with metal carabiners. At first it worked fine. until this happened. One day my eldest daughter was walking up the stairs when the bottom step came loose and fell down for no apparent reason. The rope on each side was also frayed. See photo. I would like a refund for this ladder as it is not working as intended and my daughter may have been injured. although fortunately she was not injured. Even though the return window is closed I need to get my money back as this ladder is either defective or outdated. I tried contacting the seller and provided my email address for a reply but to no avail. I will keep trying. I cannot recommend this ladder.
