Review on ๐Ÿงน Revamped iRobot Cleaning Head: Unleash Enhanced Cleaning Power for Your Roomba! by Sandra Getchu

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Great way to put up an old, poorly running Roomba

Our Roomba is almost 5 years old, runs daily and is responsible for sweeping/vacuuming pets and children. Over the years we have always had at least 2-3 large (50-80lb) Labrador Retrievers and 2 children (who are now older and perhaps a little less messy than they used to be). It started last month. to make that clicking noise - you know, like he ate the phone's charging cable and now the brushes are stuck. and there was nothing in the brushes. This always happened on our deep pile carpet in the living room and occasionally on our very low and dense carpets. I changed the brushes, did not help. I assumed that eventually the brush motor would wear out to the point where it could no longer turn against the resistance of thick carpets. Replacing the brush module gave my Roomba a whole new life - best $50 I've spent. Replacing the module is very simple - remove the bottom cover (4 screws), remove the old brush module (4 screws). The performance of my robot vacuum is now impressive - the bin is always full (it doesn't seem to have cleaned well in a while!), the battery lasts a bit longer now that it's not fighting a worn out motor (the battery is 1 year old) . ), and my floors are CLEAN.
