It works but is difficult to install

First off, this is a great footstool. I don't know why Jeep doesn't include it, but still. It seemed like an easy install, quick bit assembly, tightening, install in the car and two more screws and what could go wrong? Well, for starters, the holes on the Jeep didn't line up with the holes in the bracket - they were very slightly misaligned. So get out an electric drill and widen the holes on the jeep (trust me, this will make it easier). Now the most interesting. To access the bracket and insert the two bolts and tighten the nuts, you need to slide the driver's seat all the way back, then climb into the footwell, lie on your right-hand side and look slightly up. It was uncomfortable and ended in bruising of the ribs. Also, one of the nuts fell behind the panel, and you know what? It's not black metal, so extracting it with a magnet didn't work. It's a 9mm socket by the way. So when I grabbed another one from the stash I had, I still had a hard time doing it. In the end, my 20-year-old daughter, whose car was more nimble, was much skinnier than me and was able to use a socket set and ratchet to install and tighten both nuts. Luckily it was positioned at the right angle for her and has held on and has been treasured ever since. So that's quite a few screws, but unless you're slim and limber and don't mind hanging your foot upside down in the window to get your body at the right angle, I suggest you find someone who does suitable for this is great device!
