Aleene's! What can I say? Every Aleene product I have used has been outstanding and this is no exception. I mainly use it for patches and applications that I don't want to constantly stick on. First, I apply a thin coat of Aleene's OK to Wash It to the back. This seals the fibers and prevents tack-it from seeping through. Let it dry overnight and then apply a small amount of Tack-It. Depending on the application, you may only need to apply it to a few strategic locations rather than all at once. Warning: Once you've applied Tack-It to a porous surface like fabric, it's nearly impossible to remove. In my experience, it doesn't come out in the wash. Do not use it on the area you intend to sew through as once it has cured it will become very sticky and will stick to the needle like crazy.
