Leaves too much gap

I was looking for what seemed like the thinnest magnetic cabinet latch because I didn't want dust/dirt getting in the gap. Very disappointed they weren't. The cabinet door on the right (in my photo) has magnets attached and there is an ugly gap. I used glue because I didn't want to poke holes in my cabinets. It's a very strong adhesive and I need to keep the mice away from the cabinets so I'll let them for now. Base cabinets only. I bought 1/4" gaskets to fill the gap but I'm not happy with the look. I'll try something else if the adhesion wears off. It's been a year and it's still holding up.
